John represented the Greenwood Knights, producers of the Greenwood Classic Car Show. For over three decades, the proceeds from the show have been donated to various charities. The Greenwood Senior Center is the main recipient. The Greenwood Knights Car Club was formed specifically to keep the show alive after it was in jeopardy for a number of years. 2019 - Bill Ward of Auto Angels autoangels.com

Auto Angels is an all volunteer ministry committed to meeting the transportation needs of those within our church community who are unable to meet those needs themselves.

Auto Angels was formed in 2005 after a small group of church members became aware of transportation issues families were having while participating in BelPres outreach programs. The ministry is Christ-centered with every meeting and workday opened in prayer. We profess to being part of God's rescue mission here on earth and strive to be the hands and face of Jesus to those we serve. The services we offer include comprehensive inspections, oil changes, and brake jobs.

Auto Angels operates under the umbrella of the BelPres Missions Department.

2017 - Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Snohomish County, Steve Meyers   dreambuilderscarshow.com

For more than 100 years, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As the nation's largest donor and volunteer supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers ("Bigs") and children ("Littles"), ages 6 through 18. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

We partner with parents/guardians volunteers, and others in the community and hold ourselves accountable for each child in our program achieving: higher aspirations, greater confidence, and better relationships; avoidance of risky behaviors; and educational success.
